Juniors Krystal Harrell and Dakota Minor teamed with Kaia Burns and Naomi Johnson to lead Eastvale Roosevelt High of California to victory in the girls invitational 4x100-meter relay in 46.78 seconds at the 82nd Nike Chandler Rotary Invitational at Austin Field at Chandler High. Harrell also took sixth in the seeded girls long jump with a leap of 15-9 (4.80m) and was ninth in the invitational 100-meter dash in 12.38 seconds. Minor was fifth in the invitational 100 in 12.35 and sixth in the invitational 200 in 25.02, in addition to contributing to a third-place performance in the invitational 4x400-meter relay in 3:59.58.
